When I put together the Molly chest I had high expectations, it was billed as being solid wood, and we had purchased other Athena furniture for our nursery, I was not excited for carrying the 140lbs box up 4 floors, but it was manageable. First thing I noticed is that this dresser is not solid wood, some key pieces and structural elements are solid wood, but there is still a fair amount of HDF used. Second there was some damage to both of the side panels, not really showstoppers, but minor nicks and scratches. Third, one of the HDF drawers panels had broken, so I had to glue and clamp it to avoid returning and reordering the item, with the glue I used it is probably stronger than before. Lastly, when I completed the assembly, I thought overall the dresser was solid, although the drawers seemed to have bit of laterally slack in the slides, and the extension on the drawers is terrible. That might be an issue when dealing with baby furniture, but as the baby and clothes get bigger it could become an issue. I wish they would include a little jar of matching paint to take care of the minor damage, but I am going to reach out to the manufacturer and see what they can provided.
