Ameriwood Night Stand, Black Ebony

This is a surprisingly good piece of furniture. It's made in America which I'm all for. The wood doesn't seem too cheap and it looks pretty nice. All the screws lined up properly as they should.

Only negative is that none of the screws tightened completely like they should.. it felt like the hole was going to be stripped as you could keep turning the screw. You just have to be careful to get it tight enough and know when to stop.

Otherwise this night stand is a pretty great buy for the price.

For the price, you can't go wrong with this night stand! I was considering IKEA but this was much cheaper and I got free 2-day shipping as an Amazon Prime member! It looks great and is does not feel or look cheap. Assembly was so easy that my wife was able to do it!

My teenage son needed a nightstand, shopped the basic box stores, nothing really fit the bill. Hit up Amazon and wollah, this is perfect. Easy to assemble (I always use wood glue when assembling these prefab items) and its very solid.

Just the right size for my bedside. It fits the color of my headboard. It is a little high for my lamp.

I'm probably 3/4 of the way through building it and I had to take a break. The directions are very misleading and if you skip one step you have to undo everything up to that point and try again. Normally I am very intuitive with these sorts of out of a box do it yourself furniture sets but this is giving me a run for my money. Seems like solid quality materials though. Should work out fine if I can ever get the thing together lol.
