1) Bed is a nightmare to put together and is not sturdy feeling once constructed.
2) The fabric was coming apart in some areas of the headboard.
3) The nailheads aren't real. They are plastic and only every 5th one is more real looking but it stands out from the other row of plastic "nailheads".
4) There were a few places where the screw area was off and/or it was stripped so it didn't even take the screw.
5) The chemical treatment of the fabric stays pretty strong for a good week. It can give you a headache, even waking up with one.
6) The space between the headboard and the bottom panel is too far, it leaves a huge gap in the middle so it looks unfinished.
7) The back of the headboard is open and not covered w/any material. Just wood partical board with splinters sticking out (be careful).
8) The bed only comes with 3 panels for the front and two sides, not the headboard side. You cannot have this bed anywhere except up against a wall otherwise, you'll see all the unfinished areas.
Unfortunately, I can't return it after all that construction and hard work. Had it been easier to disassemble, I would return it. Not worth $700.I just received this bed last week. I love it. When I ordered it, there was only one review and it was 5 stars. By the time I received it, several negative reviews started appearing and I will admit, I was worried. But when I first opened the box, I fell in love with the grey color... slightly lighter than how it appears in the main image, and the fabric has a nice texture. Yes, the nailhead is obviously plastic if you are staring at it from 2 inches away, but who does that? In a normal bedroom setting, this bed looks beautiful and substantial and much more expensive than it really was. One thing to note, I can't find a way to get the headboard to attach to the frame as mentioned in the instructions, but once you shove the frame in between the two wings on the headboard, its very snug and doesnt move or feel detached at all. Also, it NEEDS a box spring. Yes, you will have a gigantic gap between your mattress and the headboard without one. with a box spring my gap is about 2" at most, easily covered by pillows. I have a short mattress too, I bet a normal or pillow top mattress would completely hide the gap all together. I found that the upholstered sides cover all but the top inch of my box spring. I plan to find a grey fitted sheet the same color as the bed to put over my box spring to help it blend in, although once you have all your other bedding on, you can tuck the sheets in a way that also cover the box spring.
Anyway, I love it. A great bed for the money and I think it looks amazing. I don't know where all of these negative reviews came from, they had me contemplating cancelling my order and I am SO glad that I didn't :)

The bed frame at face value looks good and the color a nice shade of gray. I especially like the nail button detail on the wing back. The construction however was disappointing. They didn't send enough nut & bolt to attach the 3 intermediate supports they sent (the instructions showed one but they sent 3 without a way to attach the other 2), the middle leg for the middle support was not in the middle because the hole on the middle support was not centered. The entire construction is flimsy, if you try to move the bed from the spot where you build it, everything becomes loose. The worst part is the headboard, even though they mentioned that the bed is for a box spring, if you don't have the right height of box spring/bed combination, you will have a big gap from the bottom of the headboard to the top of the mattress!!! I would have a paid a bit more to have the headboard be long enough to not have a gap. Also, if you use a box spring, the side & bottom panels doesn't cover the box spring height. So you either have an exposed box spring or a gap between headboard and mattress.
I chose the later configuration and opted to remove the box spring all together and added a cylindrical pillow to cover the gap between the headboard and mattress. If they would have made the headboard long enough to do this, my review would have been totally different. And I would have paid more to have the option between using a box spring or making it a platform.
I hope the manufacturer reads this, I had clients wanting to buy the same bed until I should them the flaw.

I ordered this bed and then canceled my order after having some doubts about the color (gray). I received an email saying the cancellation was accepted. Then to my surprise I received a call from the shipping company asking to deliver it about 3 weeks later. I took delivery of it, but looking back on it I shouldn't have. I may still take it apart and return it. Some things you should know:This is not 100% linen as described; it is maybe, maybe, maybe 50% linen. The fabric is not horrible, though; I wouldn't return it for that reason
It arrived with the back lining ripped. It was pretty clear that it was packaged after it was ripped, not damaged during shipment.
My husband is pretty handy and finally got it put together, but there were multiple screws misaligned and in several cases he had to attach it without the washers.
The color in the picture is very misleading. This is not a dark gray; it is a medium gray and sometimes has a blue/green tint to it. Again, not a horrible color but not what was pictured.
As others have noted, there is a considerable gap between the headboard and mattress if you don't have the right height mattress and box springs. Why cheat here? It makes no sense.
I work a lot in bed. When I lean against the headboard it leans too. It was apparently designed this way. I don't think it will break but it is poorly designed.
The brads are strung together, not individual. They are cool to the touch so they must be metal but they don't look it.
On the positive side, the bed frame itself seems well made. It is very well supported in the middle and has alot of feet. The sideboards are low though, and this combined with all the feet ensures you will won't be able to store much of anything underneath it.

They have the right idea but the execution is terrible! The list of "Terrible":
1) The 6 inch gap between the bottom of the headboard and the mattress
2) The 2 inch structure revealing gap between the side wings and the mattress (You can see straight through to the wall even with the bed all done up in your pillows and comforters)making it look very cheap and tacky.
3) The structure seemed sound as I put it together with the Chinese instructions but as soon as I placed my bed in the whole thing was incredibly wobbly. ( I have a Tempurpedic bed which absorbs all movement if the foundation is firm, but this bed frame made it feel like I was on a house boat every time my husband moved in the slightest!)
4) The foot board pieces do not and will not line up enough to close the gaps between the side rails and foot board.
5) Sets the mattress WAY TOO LOW!
5) Not even a good faux linen. Instead its a "want to be linen" but still very much a stuck-in-the-seventies polyester. You can definitely tell its polyester without having to be a design snob.
6) When you sit up in it and lean against the headboard it moves and bends like crazy.I seriously do not see this bed lasting very long at all if it had regular use.
7) The nail trim on this bed is very cheap, It's mostly a connected line of beaded faux nail trim and then a real nail every 5 or so to hold it in place. Which leads me to believe that they other "nail heads" are glued. Looks very cheap up close.
The list of "Good":
1) I was pleasantly surprised with the color, I ordered sandstone and it was a very nice, neutral tan color. Could have gone very nicely with my other furniture in my room.
2) It looks best as it's being wrapped up and taken back to the warehouse. (Refund comin!)
I'm a avid deal hunter and thought I hit the jackpot when I saw this on Amazon but sadly it was a dud. If you are in the market for a bed do yourself a favor and find another bed with more quality control!
