I searched for a square frame bigger than 16 x 16 for a long time in all craft stores until I found this one. It's was a bit more expensive for what I wanted to pay but I went for it because of a lack of other options.

Frame is as described in the pictures anddescription. Expensive and clean looking. The "glass" is styrene as stated in the description. I kind of liked that because it makes the frame light weight. The plastci Styrene also came with protective peel off cover on each side. Overall quite satisfies but a couple points I wanted to make.

I managed to stratch the styrene pretty easily, so handle with care.

I would have some hanging mechanism already on it for quick hanging. The hardware is all included though.

The backing was only a piece of borwn cardboard. I would have prefered at least a nuetral color backing sheet to be included

One last thing, after I had already placed the order I found many types of square frames at Ikea. That is one store I hadn't thought of. You might want to check it out, since some of the frames were a lot cheaper.

We bought these regularly for odd-sized memorabilia in our office. At around $25 a piece (12x36 size) they were OK on quality but A+ on delivery and convenience of Amazon ordering. Now the price is at $50 and I think that's laughable. Did the seller suddenly decide these were worth twice the price? I certainly do not. The construction quality is so-so at best, like others have said, but once installed you can't really say anything bad about these. I am not a big fan of the bendable aluminum clips which hold everything in...they're annoying to get on and off for certain. Before I would have given this item 4 stars overall, but now I am going with 3 due to price increase.

I am very happy with the frames I purchased. Really affordable and quality frames. I purchased some art while I was in China. The size is odd and thought I would have to custom frame but didn't want to spend a ton of money on framing the pieces. This was a fantastic alternative solution. Thanks for making odd size frames and selling them as kits! Saved me a ton of money and my art pieces look fantastic!

My review is based on the item I ordered, the cost and the quality of what I received based on description. I give it four stars, simply because this is not a five star item.

That said, this is really a nice frame for the price and what I had hoped and expected to receive. Probably would have given it five stars if the frame had come with a basic picture hanger attached. This is really a super lightweight frame, no need for the wire hanging attachment they gave. As it was, I had to purchase a basic picture holder and had a hard time attaching it to frame. Got it done, but very carefully, was afraid to break the frame. Also, I wasn't thrilled with all the static electricity on the plastic front.

That said, this is really a great price for an odd size frame. I paid $20. do a search, I found this same frame on this same site by same company for $20 more. Don't understand that at all, so do a search of this frame. Amazon is getting bad about having same items with multiple prices, even from the same seller.
