Thanks to other Amazon reviewers, I steered away from a variety of DVD towers alleged to be poorly constructed and chose this one.

Good choice!

This Newport DVD Rack is handsome, sturdy, and very quick and easy to assemble. You don't even need tools -an Allen wrench is provided to tighten the two screws that hold the base to the tower.

Really, the only thing I could complain about is wishing this rack held more than forty DVDs, but you can always buy more racks and deploy them in other spots around your video room.

Recommended!

Sleek, sturdy, modern and attractive. Also, easy to assemble which is a real plus.

The only criticism is that 40 slots provide minimal storage so more than one

unit or a larger unit may be needed for anyone having an extensive collection of DVDs.

Maybe it's obvious, but I just want to point out that you cannot fit double sized dvd cases (like box sets). Also, it's kind of unstable on my carpet floor. Other than that it's pretty good, looks nice.

The rack comes in two pieces: the shelving rack and the base. No instructions come with it, but if you can play the game perfection, you can put this together. Not to hard at all. Just put the two provided screws through the base and into the rack to hold it in place. Clean, classy looking stand.
