Locker Twin over Twin Bunk Bed

We purchased this bed September 2010 for our 4 year old son. The bed is exaclty what we were looking for with the exception of a few problems. It states you can use a standard mattress without the bunk board. We purchased a standard mattresses and placed them on the bed and if you pull the mattress to the front of the bed you have approximately 4 inches of bed exposed. Then you also have approximately another 4-6 inches to the wall with the bed against the wall. We had to place a blanket between the bed and the wall so our son would not roll off the bed. Also when he gets on the bed because there is so much exposed space the mattress slides to the back. Not happy with that at all. The bed seems to be a little bigger than the standard twin. Other than that...the bed is a great bed and our son loves it!!

Perfect for my two teen boys. They will have to work hard to tear this very sturdy bed up. Fits twin mattress and box perfectly. Would do great with just a mattress. Am thinking about buying a set for my daughter. Was a bit difficult to put together but we are handy people. Also had to finish making an insert hole for one of the screws. Not an impossible task with the right equipment. Thanks again for a great item that will last for a long time.

Nice look, sturdy, lightweight, not too hard to assemble. It is a bit wide as a previous buyer mentioned, but I think you can fill the gaps enough with a thick comforter.

Now that the bunkbed is together and functional it's fantastic!! sturdy fits a full size twin mattress which is awesome and tweens are comfortable...HOWEVER..I think it took over 2 hours to put together..picture instructions are tough you feel like someone is playing a bad joke on you! But for the price it was worth the sweat equity. Definitely recommend!!
