Pros:
Clean design, modern but not over the top
Easy to assemble (still takes at least an hour, but quicker than many other IKEA items)
Inexpensive ($149 at the IKEA store)
Sturdy and solid
Two heights for different mattress depths or to suit your preference for mattress height
Cons:
Still just particleboard and veneer no solid wood pieces in it, so it won't last forever
A couple of the screws on the cross supports stripped no problems related to it so far, but the screws and pre-drilled holes were not high quality
Probably won't work with a mattress and boxspring, it would sit too high and look awkward
Overall its a great value if you get it at IKEA for $150, or maybe $250 shipped (compared w/ $315 shipped currently here). Remember that you do have to buy the slats separately.I have this frame. I paid 160 for it from ikea. This is a little steep. Shop around first. Thanks.

Great bed. Went together easily and is very sturdy. IKEA's always been there when I needed a decent product that wasn't going to break the bank. I use a memory foam mattress with mine.An observation:
Even paying for delivery, I paid right about 250 bucks total for this same bed directly from IKEA. That's including all the necessary bits to the thing, like the frame itself, slats and the midbeam. (Mattresses are sold separately at IKEA).
WHY would anyone pay over 400 bucks for it from these people? That just seems like highway robbery to me.
