I've had this bed about 6 weeks now and just love it! It is so beautiful and everything I expected. It arrived on time, complete and no damage. Assembly instructions were easy to follow. I put it together in about an hour. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to anyone!I've made many purchases at Amazon and have not been disappointed yet. Before making any online purchase, I always check Amazon for a better deal!
I did purchase the bedframe Amazon recommended from another merchant, but it did not accommodate a footboard. In order to make this work, I had to order a footboard attachment for an additional $33.00. This is my only complaint.

This bed is better in person than in the picture. I am so glad that I found this bed because it is just what I was looking for to replace the King that I had fallen in love with but had to replace due to downsizing. Thank you for a great product and it was so easy to put together~! I gave this item 4 stars based on the very fast shipping. It went out the day I ordered it. Also the frame is big and sturdy and beautiful. The problem I have with it is that the photo shows that it wraps around the corners. It does not wrap close to the bed at all. It sticks out about 9 or 10 inches on each side which was bad because I have a very small bedroom. I had to rearrange my whole bedroom to get it to fit. I am going to try to drill new holes to see if it can be fixed. It is too bad because the overall quality is good. My thoughts are that this is the reason they are selling on Amazon at half the retail price. I feel like a queen in this bed. I had seen one 30 years ago in a store and didn't buy it. I have regretted it ever since. I later found a picture of it and have kept it in a folder all these years. So for something to do one evening, I browsed the internet and I found THIS BED! It is almost exactly like the one I had wanted for so long. In fact it is better!!!It is more feminine looking. It was very heavy and it is not cheap looking at all. I like it. I especially like the antique gold finish. The other one was too brash=gold. I asked a mechanic next door to put it together and he didn't hesitate. He had it together in less than an hour. Imagine, a car mechanic putting a big headboard and footboard together just by reading the directions!I am grateful every time I walk into the room that I found it!
