I ordered this set for my girlfriend after we moved into our first house together. She has wanted a vanity since she was a little girl and I spent months searching for the perfect one. First, the piece is absolutly gorgeous. The table is solid and easy to put together. My only issue with this vanity is with the stool. The stool looks great and matches the vanity perfectly. However, after putting it together we immediately had issues with the stool not being very sturdy. Two of the legs were wobbly right from the start as the brackets were loose. I want to contact the company to inquire about having a replacement stool sent to us but I am not sure how to contact them directly. Otherwise, the vanity is everything that I hoped for. I was worried when I was searching because most vanities seemed to be marketed towards little girls. This is certainly an adult sized and adult quality piece of furniture.

I have just received this item. I am extremely disappointed, the finish was poorly done (unpainted spots everywhere), the stool is very flimsy I am afraid I will have to un-nail everything that came from the manufacturer and add wood glue and then nail the stool back together (I've already had to re-drill the wood screws into the stool but I do not believe that fix will be sufficient as it is still wobbly). The wood on the stool looks water damaged and is warped on the outside and painted over the warping (so we know they decided to use the poor quality wood instead of discarding it). Whenever my girlfriend sits on the stool we hear it crack as if it is about to break under the pressure (mind you she is only 90lbs). The screws & washers that came with the piece for assembly were not correct (missing one washer and one locknut). I am afraid there is little recourse for me, but I hope that others do not buy this piece.

I was really excited to purchase this vanity for my wife for a birthday present, now I wish I didn't. Put it this way, it's good from far, but far from good. One of the chair legs broke the first time someone sat on it, very cheaply made. most of the holes didn't line up when putting it together, then all the holes that did match up would strip as soon as they were half way tight. Its very poor quality, I am actually thinking of giving it away and buying a new vanity for my wife. If I had the original boxes still I would have just sent it back. The wood is partial board with some plastic veneer, oh and to cover the joints and areas that didn't line up very good they used calking or some kind of putty and just painted it brown to kind of match. Not wood putty that would usually been used then sanded and finished. Watch out for ACME products, they are crap................ First thing I would recommend is, try a different company or brand. And don't believe it when they advertise, this product is usually $600.00 but we are selling them for $400.00 that's bull. This thing should sell for maybe $100.00 if that. And that's before any sale price. I hope this saves someone from having the time from having to deal with this company's products.
