When we first got it I second guessed my decision to buy it. It was packaged nothing like I expected, so it looked like a very small dresser. When we took the wrapper off, what I realized was how well it shipped. Strong cardboard so nothing was damaged. All the parts were there with a little extra, just in case I guess. Me and my husband put it together. It took us about 1 1/2 hours. The end result was great... A M A Z I N G for the price!!! I've seen crappy ones for sale at a much higher price that someone else put together. I know how mine is put together and the company made it headache free.

Once I saw this chest I feel in love and had to have it for my daughters room. It was a little hard to put together but is very sturdy.The color is perfet the size is great I recommend it highly!!!!

There's nothing overwhelmingly grand about this furniture. It gets the job done. It was easy to put together. The shelves are actually very smooth to push in and out. I prefer not to get very expensive furniture for the little ones because they are so rough on thingswith crayons, banging with toys, etc. This furniture should suit our little one until she is a pre-teen. It is "cute" furniture that pre-teens/teens would probably feel looks to babyish for them.

*Copying this review for all the pieces we ordered from this collection: 5 drawer chest, nightstand, bed, and bookshelf headboard.

When these packages arrived one had a broken piece. This was obviously from the shipping company mishandling the package, and might be specific to my area because many of the heavier packages I get have broken pieces or highly damaged boxes, and this didn't happen at my previous addresses.

Upon inspection we noticed the broken piece on the dresser. It was past customer service hours as they are on Eastern Time and we are in Pacific Time and our packages always show up in the evening. Since the customer service could not be reached by phone at that time I sent an email with our problem. First thing the next morning I was contacted and asked for a few pieces of additional information. They then sent me, free of charge including shipping, a replacement piece. It did take about a week to get here, but we are on opposing coasts. I'm very impressed by the customer service, because most companies shamefully don't care about their customers like this anymore!

The directions were very easy to follow to put all of these items together. Some of them said they took two people but I had no trouble putting them together myself, and usually in about 75% of the time that the instructions said would be needed.

The quality is great. You do get what you pay for, and this is not the price point of solid wood furniture, so you should not expect that level of quality. Compared to some of the other put together furniture I have ordered this is superior in quality. The only part that is less than great is the drawer tracks. They are all made of plastic with no rollers, and with the friction between pieces, it makes it harder to open and close the drawers than the roller style tracks. This can be mostly overcome by adding a little vaseline onto the track before inserting the drawers.
