Purchased the queen size in white back in early 2012. I'm assuming this particular shape is constructed after an order is submitted, as the headboard shipped directly from the manufacturer and delivery took almost a full 4 weeks. It arrived very well packaged padded and wrapped securely inside the cardboard shipping box. The quality of the materials and craftsmanship is very high: the microfiber fabric (has the feel of velvet/terrycloth mix) is heavy and durable, the upholstering of the fabric around the corners and points is done very well, the nail heads surrounding the outline of the headboard were all in the correct locations and were securely fastened, and the metal components of the headboard (legs, fasteners, etc) were heavy duty. The back of the headboard is not upholstered, so it's probably not suitable for those whose bedroom layout would prevent this from being placed directly against a wall. The legs can be adjusted to different heights depending on the height of your box spring and mattress so you shouldn't have an issue with a gap between the top of the mattress and the bottom of the headboard (you will definitely have a gap if you are not using a box spring though.) The thickness of the headboard is about .75", expanding out to 1.25" below the nail head trim (this is where the padding starts).I deducted one star because there was a small tear in the fabric on the right side of the headboard fabric. It's about .25" long and looks like it was "sliced" (I was very careful opening the box and did not use any kind of blade.) It was not significant enough to justify the hassle of re-packing the headboard, taking it to be shipped, and waiting another month. Although, it is a bit bothersome to spend a significant amount of money for a product that is damaged, albeit a small defect.
All in all, this is an excellent value for the money given the quality of the product. It gives the appearance of an elegant spa or hotel feeling to the bedroom. The fabric is also very easy to clean. I would not hesitate to purchase this product again, but would advise other customers to inspect their shipment very carefully upon opening.

I've had this king size headboard for a few months now and I am still very happy with it. The color is true on your screen, a nice neutral beige color and looks stunning with white, grey, navy, etc. To go along with it we purchased the Night therapy platform bed, also here on Amazon and the two work well together. However, the headboard was not as tall as I wanted with the legs sitting on the ground, so my hubby attached it to a higher rung on the frame (legs not on the ground) and it's still working perfectly fine. The description says the fabric is velvet, but I disagree. It is a nice dense, soft pile fabric but I wouldn't call it velvet. I have a velvet ottoman in my living room to compare it with. The nailhead trim is in an aged bronze finish, very flattering with this fabric. The headboard looks like its expensive cousins in every decorator magazine these days for a fraction of the cost. This "velvet" headboard is very nicely made. Mine came through with one nailhead missing. When I asked about this, a very generous adjustment was made and my adjustment to the lack of a nail head actually gave me some scope for individuality.The headboard is a pleasure every day.
