Prepac Sonoma Maple 2-Door Armoire

Ordered through Amazon.com and received item much quicker than expected. This was good because we were hoping to put it to use by the end of JUNE, for visitors. Unfortunately the side panels were cracked. We contacted the "Prepac" company for replacement panels. This was on JUNE 17th. Finally, after our visitors had come and gone, the new panels arrived JULY 1st. On JULY 3rd we opened the (2) separate packaged panels to discover they were not cracked, but they were BLACK. At first thinking I had not specified the style we had ordered, I checked my "sent e-mails" for the original request of the new panels. I had specified the correct style, Sonoma Maple 2-Door Armoire. Now we will see what happens.

I love this addition to my quilting studio. It is very high quality and it was easy to put together. It has deep shelves and drawers. I would recommend it to everyone. What was soooo cool was that I got free shipping through Amazon. When you order heavy furniture it is the only way to go. Other places wanted several hundred dollars for shipping.

This was fairly easy to put together and I was able to do it by myself. I'm very happy with it. It is in my daughters bedroom. All of her dress-up clothes are hanging in it and the dress-up shoes and accessories are sitting on the bottom permanent shelf. All her Barbie Clothes and accessories and in the two drawers so this has really helped to get her room organized. When she outgrows her dress-up clothes her tv will probably go in it. Other reviewers mentioned that the armoire is really hard to move and that is true but if you put furniture sliders under it, it just glides across the carpet with no trouble.

The company was wonderful to work with. We had some minor issues that they took care of immediately. The product was just as good as it looked in the picture and is quite sturdy. Exactly what I was looking for.

I read many reviews regarding shipping damage and was a little apprehensive but need overpowered worry. Glad I got it because it came intact, (although in 2 shipments 2 days apart) it has a good quality and most of all it holds all my linens as I have little closet space and no linen closet! Nice and deep front to back...holds large sheet towels folded with room to spare.

One of the anchor bolt holes was drilled off center at factory so I had a slight split when assembled. Got some scratch filler from home supply store and voila!

Hey, it's not real wood, but for the price it is a great deal. Looked at ones in furniture stores and Jeez! They wanted two, three times as much and then some!
