We just moved into a house with a counter you can sit under and were using bar height stools for a while that were just not working. I didn't have time to go out and find something like this so after reading the description 15 times, decided to risk it. I was concerned they weren't high enough because they look like regular chairs. Thankfully, they're perfect. They are a few inches taller than normal chairs and fit under a countertop exactly right. The only thing I don't love is that they're really not "espresso." They're a touch lighter. It's something I can live with though, and you can't beat the cost. They went together really nicely and seem as high quality as our dining room chairs. One wobbled, but my father-in-law was able to loosen it and it doesn't wobble anymore. Great purchase.

Along with the table these are also beautifully crafted and easy to assemble.Looks great with the table in our small kitchen and 4 chairs fit easily.
Look great for the price.I have the matching table and chairs. The chairs are perfect... sturdy, great build quality. I've had the chairs/table for about 6 months now and they still look/fell brand new.
