My husband and I had never hung wallpaper before and were very nervous about doing this, especially after reading some of the reviews about "don't do this yourself." We followed the instructions very carefully, and it was a breeze! Some suggestions. There is plenty of paste. I was nervous that we would run out at first. This is not a problem, so use plenty of it. After a thick coating, book it for the full 10 minutes. (The waiting is the worst part.) All of the pieces match up perfectly, just overlap and find the matching points on the other pannel and smooth from there. Also, like the other reviewer said. DO NOT TRIM WET, and do not wait until it is all the way dry. If you trim wet, it will tear. If it is all the way dry, it will stick to your ceiling, adjacent walls etc. By the time we had hung the whole mural, the first pieces were dry enough to trim. They trimmed very easily. The only exception I made was I trimmed the pieces on the baseboard immediately as the paste had gathered as a glob at the bottom and "puddled" beneath the mass of excess paper. It hadn't gotten wet enough to tear yet, so it trimmed well. Then I wiped off the excess paste and sealed the bottom. Overall The mural is absolutely gorgeous and we are contemplating ordering another design for her twin sisters room! This has a huge WOW factor. My daughter just loves it and it certainly is a source of conversation when people visit. I was very nervous about tackling this but it was the easiest thing to install. You have to start from the middle rather than the outside corner. This does mean that you will have excess hanging over at all sides. We let it dry completely before trimming it because it wanted to tear when wet. I think we waited too long because in some places the extra actually got glued to the woodwork. Don't trim wet...don't trim totally dry. Keep an eye on it and you will be fine. Love this mural!Buy Dolphins Paradise Wall Mural Now
This is a great wall mural, very large and beautiful once put up. I will caution though that it will take 2 people to hang the top pieces and it really was not as easy as the ads say it is. If you have never dealt with wallpaper hanging before you may want to get some real help. Otherwise it is a great mural to hang on the wall.Read Best Reviews of Dolphins Paradise Wall Mural Here
I love the ocean and the critters that inhabit it. I grew up near the ocean and unfortunately no longer live near it. Thus, I miss it. For one of my bathrooms I decided to do ocean motiff and in the master bedroom just outside it, I put this up. It looks beautiful despite some creases and folds from installing it. Yes, I followed directions to the letter, but it wasn't as easy to put up as it should be.It actually takes two persons to put it up and still it is a chore to get it right. Don't overwet the panels, as we did by accident, for the panels will shrink and reveal the wall behind it. It easily does trim to put where you want it. However, removing it is not easy. It does cause damage to the panel, so be sure where you put it up because you won't be able to remove it to fix it or put it someplace else. All these factors cause me to give 4 stars instead of five. It really is a beautiful scene. All is all, it was a great purchase and I have no hesitation in recommending it to others, as long as you remember it is not as easy as directions say it is. I will soon be putting up the Mediterrean scene and will write a review about that one then. Hopefully, the things I learned with this dolphin one will make the Mediterrean one go up easier.I was so disappointed that my painter did not attempt to put the entire mural up. Instead he only put up 3 panels. However even with only half of this mural up it is completely gorgeous. You feel like you are under the sea swimming with the dolphins. I would highly recommend it.
