Dixie Student Desk

I got this vanity/desk a few days ago and put it together this weekend. I absolutely LOVE IT! I was worried it was going to be kind of cheap looking but it was the exact opposite. Very classy and pretty without being fussy or overdone.

It was so easy to put together as well.I thought I would need my husband to help me as he's typically better at putting things together but I ended up doing the whole thing by myself. It only took about 20 minutes to put the whole thing together.

I'm considering ordering this same vanity/desk for another room.

This desk is made from nice materials. But it's so poorly constructed that the hardware doesn't fit! Most holes were too big, so it started coming apart. Some holes were so small, the hardware wouldn't fit and I couldn't assemble it. I had to use power tools and glue, and some basic skills of my own. I think a lot of folks wouldn't be able to assemble it properly.

This desk is perfect for my teen age daughter's room. She was able to put it together by herself, it is a good size: big enough to provide a work surface, but small enough to fit into a small room. I would recommend this desk.

This desk is the perfect desk for my 9 year old. We were disappointed to have 2 broken pieces that my husband had to repair before assembling the desk. Otherwise it has been great. We haven't noticed it smelling like other people mentioned.

The desk is a good value for the money. Take a bit to put together, but once up is sturdy and looks good. My daughter loves her white desk!

All parts fit properly and all connectors pulled things up nice and tight. Like all furniture made from MDF it's not meant to be moved around a lot after assembly because the joints will start to loosen up.
