Armless Sofa Bed with Accent Pillows in Dark Grey Fabric

I'm going to separate this into a few points-

1. (the futon itself)-Rate 4/5. The futon looks great, the picture is very accurate and the couch does indeed have several nice tones of gray in it. It is fairly firm so we use pillows with ours, but we definitely like it overall. The futon does fold down to a full size bed; which was enough for my wife and I to use, but I wouldn't recommend for all couples. When using the futon as a bed I would definitely recommended supplementing the bed with a mattress topper or something of that sort because of the firmness of the futon. Again, the futon does look really nice and easily fits 3 people for seating, but could fit 4 people as well. Super easy to put together.

2. (shipping)-Rate 1/5. I'm not sure where the problem occurred, but this was not delivered anywhere near when Amazon said it would be delivered. We were originally quoted that the futon would be delivered by 10/26. Around 10/25 I inquired about the status because I wanted to make sure that I would be home for delivery. I was given the waybill number for a company called HomeDirect, which handles the transportation arrangements. According to their website the item had not even shipped at that time. I contacted Amazon (or Home and Living) and asked for an update. The response I received was polite and noted that they would follow-up on the item and contact me on Monday with an update, since it was the weekend. I never received an update by phone or by e-mail. My wife & I had a trip out of town so we were gone for a week, when we returned we still had not received an update and according to the HomeDirect website the item was still in transit. I contacted Home and Living again and noted that we believed this may be grounds for cancellation of our order--within a day arrangements were made for delivery and we had the futon delivered. The guys who dropped off the futon were great, called me when they were on their way and lugged the futon up 2 flights of stairs for us. It was a quick, easy process at that point, but Home and Living and HomeDirect need to get this straightened out and at least give an accurate quote.
