Ambrose Twin over Twin Bunk Bed

The bed is a great bed for kids. it is easy to put together. The only problem I have with it is I am missing a pole.

I was a little worried because I got excited and purchased this without reading reviews. However, it's extremely sturdy and in excellent condition. I may have just gotten lucky, but my kids love it and I feel like they are just as safe on this as on any other bed. My husband and his friend had it put together in about an hour and a half. I feel like the bars could be a little thicker, but I'm not going to complain too much. It does the job for sure since my children have broken 2 wooden beds at this point I don't want to have that problem anymore.

It wasn't hard to put it together without the instructions, just annoying really. When it arrived it looked like it was packaged by a 5 year old.

My husband and I put this together in an hour. Super easy to figure out and very sturdy. I love that it has enough clearance between beds that I can sit and tuck her in without hunching over (this won't apply to everyone, I'm only 5'4").

Only complaint is the width. It's a few inches too wide for a twin mattress so you either have a gap between the mattress and the wall or extra bed frame sticking out on the other side, which contributes to bumped shins when she's climbing in or out. Think I'll just stuff an extra blanket in the wall-side gap.

This vendor has been a very disappointing. This order was placed on August 28, 2012, the bed was delivered with missing parts (2 legs and post rails). I am still waiting for them, what's more they have not even shipped the parts yet.

I call them at least once a week, they are not able to tell me when they will be sending them to me. I am not able to return items because packaging was torn while opening. This is a deeply frustrating situation ... they almost seem annoyed by my calls. Stay away from Dorel Home Products.
