We've had this headboard for a few months now and it has been just what we needed. When we got a king size bed there was no longer space for bedside tables so this headboard solved the problem. There's storage space for everything, plenty of room for lamps, and the sliding doors can be positioned so that you can prop a pillow against them for reading in bed.
