Sauder Entertainment Center

We bought this entertainment center for our Christmas gift, a 46" Samsung flat screen TV. We researched multiple websites and companies until we got convinced that this is the right size furniture piece for our needs. We are delighted with our purchase because this entertainment center offers a great quality, high-end and modern look at a price at least two times less expensive that most of the other existing brands with a similar look. While it took us some hours to put it together (you will need two people for this purpose), the instructions manual was helpful enough. The only thing that made it a little bit challenging while building the piece, was the fact that not all the holes were marked on the wood which confused us.

However, overall, this has been one of the best purchases our family has ever made! We cannot be happier with this entertainment center!

5-6 hours to put together. It's a little darker than the picture (which I like). Assembles on it's back and then you lift it. I can see how others may have broken it if not careful. My wife lifted the top portion as I stood in the middle and lifted the bottom, it held together fine. Once you add the back, it makes it more stable. I would not recommend laying it on it's front to put the back on as the instructions suggest. Overall I am very, very satisfied with this piece. It holds my PS3/Xbox 360/WII/DVR/Receiver/& 51" TV nicely.

I was amazed how well things were going, every hole lined up nicely, after i finished, it was laying back down, i lifted it up and all i heard was," Riiiiipppppp". and everything just fell apart as i was trying to stand it up. Worthless piece of garbage.

This is represented as being a cherry color. It is, in fact, as close to being black as possible without actually being black. Called and told Sauder they sent the wrong color. They said, "No, that is cherry." I had to take it out in the sunlight to see very dark brownish traces of woodgrain. Any one who has looked at it agrees, it's basically black. They did refund my money but I really wanted a cherry colored unit which they couldn't provide. The color that shows on Amazon is not a good representation.
