Noble Full/Queen Headboard (54/60")

We bought this headboard thinking we could just screw it into our existing metal queen bedframe. We were very wrong as the holes didn't line up. The instructions that come with the headboard also say that it should be used with the platform bed. It's clear it would not be sturdy without it. The headboard is nice for the price, but once you add in the cost of the platform bed, it becomes too expensive and defeats the purpose of a cheaper headboard. I'm pretty disappointed that this wasn't labeled better. Would have been nice to know before having it assembled and sitting in my house!

The main reason I'm writing a review is to mention that it arrived with one piece cracked, and instead of shipping it back I decided to write the manufacturer via e-mail. They replied the next day (a Saturday, no less!), and simply said send them my shipping address and they'd send me a replacement part.

It took about two weeks, but the part arrived in good condition. Kudos to them for caring about their customers.

It says two people are required for assembly, but an experienced furniture-assembler can do it alone.

There are screws for mounting it onto a wooden bed frame, but no bolts for attaching it to a traditional steel rail bed frame. I used 4 bolts 3/8 x 2-1/2, which is long enough for a washer on each end and a lock washer. (Make sure the holes in your bed frame are that big.) You can get all that for a few dollars at your nearest hardware or home-improvement store.

I THINK IT COULD HAVE BEEN SHIPPED ASSEMBLED. IT IS REALLY CRAZY TO HAVE TO PUT EVERYTHING TOGETHER. I HAD ONE DAMAGED PANEL. I HAD TO CALL. BUT THEY HAD A TOLL FREE NUMBER AND THEY SENT A REPLACEMENT PART OUT TO ME ASAP. I WAS IMPRESSED BY THAT!

Product is very cheaply made, I am very dissatisfied with it. The board on the front broke out on 3 spots from the round pieces(not sure what the technical name is) of metal that you turn with a screw driver to tighten. I had to figure out a way to use it without that whole piece of wood. The wood also had multiple dings in it that I had to touch up, and basically dents by just touching it with a fingernail. Not a happy customer. Also I placed the order on June 27th with two day shipping. It didnt leave till July 2nd and I didnt recieve it until July 9th. 10 days over the should have been shipped date. Overall I would not recommend this product or the seller. I would like a complete refund but I am sure that wont happen! Id return it if it wasnt such a hastle at this point. This product will burn good in my bonfire. Very Very disappointed
