DecoMates Non-Ticking Silent Wall Clock - Dome Wooden (Brown)

I ordered this clock for my office. I like the wood panel retro look, reminded me of my parents' house when I was growing up. LOVE the fact that it is absolutely silent. After installing the clock, all was well until about 45 days after the purchase. The clock kept running, but now the time is off by hours. I replaced the batteries and still encountered the same problem. I called the company and they told me it was not their problem as there is only a 30-day return period. So, if you are looking for a great looking clock that lasts for one month, I highly suggest you purchase this product. Otherwise, buyer beware...and purchase an alternate clock!

It doesn't tick, the second hand just continually moves. You can't tell from the picture but it has clear plastic over the face. Seems to be keeping time just fine and looks pretty decent.

Edit: Just changed my rating from 5 to 1 stars. The clocks stopped working after just a few months. Changed the batteries, same deal. It will start and stop multiple times a day. Worthless.

absolutely silent, interesting looking. Bought it for the kitchen of my country house and it's perfect there. It is a bit bigger than I thought it would be, I should have checked the dimensions.

Beautiful clock, and does make no noise, as advertised. It worked perfectly for about a year, and then the hand mechanisms got stuck (or the gears wore out)--you could hear it whirring if you put your ear to the mechanism, but the hands wouldn't advance. (And yes, banging it several times didn't get it 'unstuck').

A bit disappointed, because I really loved this clock, but what can you really expect for the price I guess.

5 Stars for looks and noise level.

1 Star for durability.

UPDATE:

Bought a second one, that one broke after about 3 months--this time it just started slowing down until it stopped working all together (and no, changing batteries didn't do anything)....Can't bring myself to buy a third, because it will probably last all of 2 weeks this time. Such a shame because it is such a beautiful clock :-( Downgrading my original average of 3 stars to an average of 1 star :-(

My dome non ticking clock arrived today. It truly does not tick and is quiet. It seems I am not the only person who hates the ticking of most clocks. I actually returned 4 clocks I purchased locally and was so happy to get this clock. It is a little larger than I thought but still is perfect and looks great. This clock even came with it's own battery. It was easy for me to hang up which I immediatley did before checking where the clock was made. I am pleased with the quality of the clock.
