From the picture the chair looks like a standard kitchen/bar chair. In fact, the seat is about as big as a full-size dining-set chair. It takes too much space in the kitchen and makes it less comfortable because the back is too far when you are sitting at the counter. Other than that, the chair itself seems sturdy and of decent quality for the price. You basically just bolt it together and the bolts stay visible so it will not be confused with real designer furniture but for 1/4 the price it looks great :)

I purchased 4 of these stools (2 orders) and was pleasantly surprised at how sturdy and comfortable they are at this price range. One of the seats I received was ripped, so the seller had to send me a replacement. It took slightly longer than I would have liked to receive them, but overall I am very happy with this purchase. The chairs have the style and comfort I wanted for a lower price than expected. I put them together myself and although it was tricky at times to screw in the seat to the back support, it was worth the extra 30 minutes. I am happy with the final product.

The chairs are good for the price. You pay for "Made in China" don't expect Scandinavian quality. It took me couple good hours to put together four chairs, and trust me, I am quite handy. Parts are not very well aligned, and some inside nuts threads were damaged by welding.

However once it is assembled it looks fine and feels quite comfy and steady.

3/4 came out ok. one of the chairs, one the leg is not even. So it causes the chair to wobble.

The main differences between these and more expensive stools of the same style: you have to assemble them yourself (not terribly hard), they are not leather, and the steel assembly screws are visible. They should include black plastic covers for them. I used a black Sharpie.
