When this table arrived, the magazine rack was damaged, scratched and warped. The magazine rack also had a sticker attached to it that was very difficult to remove and leaves visible residue on the table. Many holes were cut the wrong size, making assembly difficult. The table looks great, but I am afraid it won't last long without acquiring many scratches.

I am very dissatisfied with the product. I received my replacement (after a damaged first shipment) and the second is damaged too. I responded to Amazon as to what I should do a few days ago and have heard nothing back. I would like a refund.

Maybe you could help me. I have ordered things in the past and have never had problems before.

The table top was damaged in the same place in both shipments and I suggested you investigate the packaging of the item.

I absolutely love this coffee table! Originally, it arrived damaged and I had to send it back and request a replacement. I wasn't too thrilled about this, especially considering that I was expecting this to happen based on all of the reviews I read. However, Amazon customer service was very helpful and arranged for UPS to come pick the table back up and have a new one sent to me. The replacement table arrived very quickly, the packaging was much improved and the table was not damaged! It was also easy to assemble...I did it myself! Overall, it is a great table. It is very cute, sleek and stylish!

After reading the other reviews I was very concerned that this item might arrive broken. I shouldn't have worried. The box was reinforced and the edges and corners with extra cardboard supports. Whatever packing and shipping problems they have had before seem to have been solved. The finish on the wood was very smooth and the item looked very clean. I had no issues with assembly (only 12 bolts) until I tried to install the bottom shelf. The shelf is one inch too short for the opening and will just fall through to the floor. I either need to purchase longer pegs to hold it up or go without the bottom shelf. I have opted to go without since it is not structural. I don't mind the open bottom. If it weren't for this construction flaw I would have given it 5 stars. I was not expecting a piece of furniture to look this good at this price range. It looks like I paid twice as much.

Ok.

First off, I should have learned by the reviews that I read that in most cases item was damaged upon arrival. No. Me being optimistic went ahead and ordered this anyway. Needless to say item was damaged upon arrival. :(

Then I was trying to return item with amazon.com/returns and couldn`t locate proper prepaid packing slip for free return shipping/handling. Sent item back my expense which costs $39.50 to send.

Would like to talk to a LIVE person from amazon who may be able to help with a reimbursment for my s/h cost to return damaged goods. Unless i`m missing something, I can`t locate a phone number to do so. So, I, as of right now assume that I will never get my $39.50 back and have, in my mind, added that cost to what I paid for this item. And yes, I do have my receipt.

Eventually, the replacement product was sent, and made it problem free, with better packaging, to my residence. I do like the item, but in the future may just buy furniture, etc. where I can bring all purchases directly back with me to avoid this kind of hassle.

IF amazon does contact me to resolve this matter, I will update my review or post another one to let everyone know.
