South Shore Morgan Collection Storage Cabinet, Pure Black

This cabinet is not worth the price considering it's size and construction. I'll list the main points here:

1)The cabinet arrived damaged, even though the box was in perfect condition. So I'm assuming this was a problem

at the warehouse and/or whoever packed it did so carelessly. There was a small corner broken off one of the pieces,

so we decided to make do & fix it ourselves instead of going through repackaging & returning such a heavy item,

PLUS having to pay the hefty shipping costs AGAIN.

2)The cabinet back consists of pieces of cheap plywood TAPED together. Yes, taped.

3)The front top doors did not line up correctly thanks to the holes being drilled unevenly. So the left top

door is set about 1/2" (half an inch is a lot)higher as a result.

4)The quality of the wood is terrible; feels like it MIGHT last a year or two, if we're lucky.

Overall, I'm completely disappointed in this product. Save your money, it's definitely not worth the price.

I purchased this storage unit for my in home office. When I unpacked it, one of the doors was damaged in shipping. I was only going to use 2 of the doors, so that was OK. When putting it together, the directions were a bit unclear,because 1. the pieces were not marked consistently (meaning, the numbers were on different places of each piece, requiring a lot of turning around) and 2. it was difficult to determine front from back in the directions because there was no indication, like shading for the front, etc. The doors were not even because the unit would not stand up squarely. I did put corner brackets to help shore it up, but the unit still can move side to side, unstable. For the price, it is just OK. I would not recommend, nor would I buy again.

I love this cabinet. It is a very nice looking cabinet and the four doors add that extra something to make it look a little special. The cabinet is very sturdy and is made of heavy material. You will definitely want help putting it together. It look me about 2 1/2 hours to assemble and the directions were very clear. The directions were just illustrations but were very easy to understand. Compared to other items that I've purchased in the past that are similar, this cabinet is of much higher quality. It is very spacious inside, with one bottom area that has one adjustable shelf, and a top area with one adjustable shelf. The center shelf is solid and is not adjustable. Overall, this is a great cabinet and well worth the money. I would definitely recommend this cabinet for anyone who is looking for some extra storage space in their their dining room, bedroom, or any room of the house.

This piece has some nice hardware and some really cheap ones (shelf holders). The two back pieces are suppose to be F and F1 both labelled F so of course we put the wrong one on the bottom and the other did not fit the top and had been nailed in. You cannot tell much fro the instructions and must guess. The instructions must have been written by a blind 3rd grader whose first language was not English
