This is a great piece if you want something inexpensive that looks decent. It took a few hours to put it together (had a friend help me), and it looks great from a distance. When you get up close, you notice it's not the best quality but I don't care. I just wanted something that would last a couple of years, and that's it. Looks great in my room.I've read some people complaining about the color it looks just like it does in the photos. If you don't like the color, you can easily and quickly paint it a new shade.

I am a very meticulous about prep, laying out and counting all parts, etc. so no problems there, except it would be easier with a helper. I am a very able senior grandma and put it together alone. It is a very good size for my guest room, 60" long but only 18" deep so it does not take up lots of floor space. Very good storage. Also bought the bookcases with doors.I bought the dark, antiqued black and it looks fine but this is cheap material so it will not take a lot of banging. Chips easily. I bought a glass piece for the top so the thin veneer would look good longer.
You could find a quality piece used and rehab it more cheaply and with less work. However, I wanted the matching pieces for my small guest room which will not get lots of wear and tear.
