Delmar High Back Swivel Vanity Stool

I purchased this vanity chair for my wife. It was easy to assemble, as there are only the four legs to install(two bolts each leg). The chair and swivel base come pre-assembled. I purchased the Ivory Damask fabric color/pattern. The color in the photo provided by Home Decorations is lighter than the actual fabric color. The fabric is more of a light yellow than ivory. The photo looks more like 'off' or 'antique' white. This chair is OK to sit in for short periods, but may be uncomfortable if you needed to use it longer. The added tax, shipping, & surcharges totaled over $50. You many not have to pay tax in your state, but the shipping is still around $35. I think the quality is good and the swivel base works well. There is some unevenness in the wood staining, but not it's not that noticeable. The hardware bag was missing two lock washers for the bolts and one bolt was rolling around in the carton when I opened it. The chair arrived undamaged, but the carton took a beating in shipment. Shipping was fast and arrived in only a few days after ordering. We like the look of the chair very much. My wife is only 5 feet tall and this chair is really sized for someone taller. The seat for her is about two inches too tall to be really comfortable. A footrest might help.

i WAS LOOKING FOR A VANITY CHAIR THAT COMBINED A LOOK OF CLASS AND STILL PRACTICAL. THIS DID BOTH. IT IS EASY TO ASSEMBLE. THE SEAT IS NOT DESIGNED HOWEVER FOR FULL FIGURED WOMEN.

I wanted a vanity stool with a high back and this filled the bill quite nicely. I like the swivel feature of the chair. It is a good height, sturdy, and very comfortable. I would have liked to have had a choice of upholstery covers. The tapestry style is nice but a little too dark for my décor. Otherwise a very lovely chair.
