Corner Bookcase Contemporary Style in Cappuccino Finish

Purchased Coaster Corner Bookshelf from Moshaya seller. Item arrived after one week which I consider as normal delivery time. Checked the item and found that it is defective. There were extensive discolorations on the surface of shelves (result of manufacturing defects or incorrect storage conditions). Contacted seller by phone and sent pictures of defects as proof. After that seller just went silent. My contact attempts using phone or e-mail were not answered for right now almost a month. Do not see any other options as to call credit card company and start disputing transaction. Never ever will buy anything from this seller and will be very cautios with all Amazon advertized sellers. I expected, that since Amazon was advertising this sellers, return and exchange policies should be painless as in Amazon. Not the case.

We have put together our fair share of DIY furniture from various places over the past months. This one was by far & away the worst of the bunch. The shelves were all chipped around the edges, underneath the stain which indicates that this occured during the manufacturing process not during shipping. The cam locks and bolts were so cheap fully 1/2 of the locks broke during assembly. We have contacted the seller (Moshya Home Furnishings) to remedy the situation. They have responded in a timely fashion, but are not fully addressing the requests each time. We have had to send multiple emails to get the re-order correct. The parts have yet to arrive (1-1/2 weeks later), so it is still to be determined if this unit can be salvaged or not. Don't waste your time or money on this one.

I have purchased other pieces of coaster furniture in the past, and I always found the quality to be outstanding for the price. but this piece did not live up to my expectations. First, the "cappuccino" stain on this does not match the other pieces of Coaster furniture that I own... it's more reddish-brown. Second, it was very difficult to assemble, even though it seemed relatively straightfoward. Third, the hardware was shoddy, and I had once of the cam locks break while tightening. Fourth, the machining was poor, and it required some "persuasion" to get the pieces into alignment. Bottom line, I'd highly recommend avoiding this bookcase.

I looked for MONTHS for a corner bookcase that wasn't too small or too expensive. This one was great. It took about 45 minutes to put together, which I didn't feel was unreasonable. It is a higher quality than the particle board pieces that are generally what put together pieces are made of. I would certainly recommend this piece.
