Functionality Office Bookcase by Coaster Furniture

This piece arrived very well packed and is a nice, solid and heavy item. Definitely was not under 40lbs as statedhusband had difficulty moving the box (so around 80lbs?) Be prepared for a heavy box. As expected it is made of of press board, but it looks to be a high quality that will NOT flake or chip. I'm giving this a lower rating than 5 star because the drawer on the bottom doesn't fit as well as it should; we tried disassembling and reassembling the case a couple of times before coming to the conclusion it is just a build error. Item is too bulky to try to disassemble again and returnwe are just going to deal with the drawer as is.

Very satisfied with the bookcase in general; it looks like it will hold up well to our 3 year old and his massive book collection. Very thick material means it will not bend under the weight of the books.

***Would not discourage anyone looking to purchase item! We have not made an effort to have the drawer repaired.**

Pretty solid piece, a lot heavier than expected but appears to be very sturdy. One small issue with mounting the drawer, but mostly was my inability to read the schematics as far as mounting the rails. The instructions where not quite clear enough.
