The first wall clock I order was a "ticking" model. I need to have my sleeping environment "Just right" in order to fall asleep and the ticking was driving me nuts. So I returned the clock and ordered this model. It arrived early and was undamaged. I would like to say that there were no difficulties whatsoever with their return policy. Good job!!!

I opened the box and noticed that the clock required a penlight battery. After installing the battery, I was expecting the ticking to begin. Not to be. This model is completely silent! Fantastic! I would highly recommend this clock for light sleepers or for those who need a quiet wall clock.

It runs on batteries. Has a sweep second hand. But best of all it is quiet. Many clocks like this drive me crazy with the ticking.

Clock arrived today and it's up on the wall. My old tick tick tick one had started bothering me when I was teleworking (in the dining room). This is my kitchen clock and now it's perfectly silent! My cat was mesmerized by the continuously moving red second hand which will come in handy when I'm timing kitchen stuff. It's a decent looking clock. It is rather thick so if you're off to the right side the brown edge hides most of the numbers from 2-4. There are glare issues from the glass but not enough of a detriment for me to send it back.

It's not as handsome as my old one so I'll keep that and put it up when company comes.
