Avery Oak Bed

A little hesitant buying something like this online, but couldn't find a unique frame design to match existing dressers in any local stores ... we are very pleased with the bed. Shipped as expected in perfect condition (well packed). A very solid and heavy piece of furniture. Color is as described; matched our medium oak set very well. Took a little over an hour to put together, somewhat tricky, but intuitive. It's definitely the focal point of the room.

Had a hard time finding what I was looking for locally, so ordered this product instead.

The bed was well packaged and assembly was straightforward. Fitting was not perfect but acceptable.

There was a blemish on the headboard, and a knick on the frame, which took away from the overall quality of the product. Without these it would have been a good value for the money.

I have been using the same cruddy metal frame, that came free with the mattress, for years now and finally got sick of it. After doing a bit of internet research, I took a gamble and ordered this bed site unseen. I am very pleased with the results. The bed showed up yesterday, and my wife and I were able to easily assemble it in about an hour and a half. Compared to some of the Ikea purchased we've made over years, assembly of this one was a snap. The only additional tool you need is a Phillips screw driver. The product was well packaged. I'll be getting rid of Styrofoam for weeks.

The bed went together well, and seems very solidly built. There is none of the squeaking or shaking i'm used to with our old frame. For a relatively inexpensive bed frame, I am thrilled. I'd happily recommend this frame to a friend.

The frame did have one ding on a sideboard, and I pondered calling to see if I could get a replacement piece. I finally decided I wanted it put together NOW, and didn't care enough about the ding to take it apart again later and replace it. The blankets cover it fully.
