South Shore Furniture, Lily Rose Collection, 5 Drawer Chest, Romantic Pine

I purchased this dresser about two years ago for my daughters' bedroom. The dresser is great for small rooms since it adds a lot of storage and is vertical, instead of horizontal, so it doesn't take up a lot of space.

The dresser was simple to put together, the drawers slide out easily, and the dresser is very sturdy. We are very happy with this purchase.

I'll even disregard that the bottom base piece was broken when my dresser arrived. I purchased this for my girlfriend for our apartment. When I first carried this up the stairs to the place I had high hopes because of how heavy the box was, it weighed almost twice as much as a similar dresser I bought at Target two days before.

Here's a Pro's and Con's List for easy deciphering.

Pros

-I suppose it does look halfway decent when it's all assembled

It has 5 drawers instead of 4 and is still just as wide as my Target dresser

Cons-

-It is probably one of the worst instruction manuals I've ever seen for diy furniture assembly.

-It's made entirely of cheap, very cheap particle board (lower quality than most I've seen.)

-The drawer slides and most of the hardware is made of plastic ( fine at first, but much more likely to break or stop functioning)

-Drawers don't slide open and closed very easily

-Drawers are not very deep

-It's definitely more ideal dresser for a little girls room (it has flowers printed on the top drawer, which are hard to see in the thumbnail picture.)

Overall, the cons way out weigh the pros, I wish the other people that reviewed this product would have mentioned the cheap plastic drawer slides and also the fact that they use tiny nails to keep the drawer bottom from sliding.

It definitely looks like this dresser will not last you long.

Do yourself a favor, but the one at Target with 4 drawers thats 30 bucks cheaper.

Assembly of the dresser was a little more time consuming than I expected, but it fits together really well. My 6 year old was very pleasently surprised by the beauty of it when she saw it for the first time in her room.

It arrived in very good condition so I'm very pleased. My daughter loves this. She's very happy and when she's pleased so am I.

for the price you get a pretty good deal on the product. The material does feel a little on the cheap side but again it didn't cost much. the dresser looks really nice in my daughters light pink room. the flower shaped knobs are a nice touch. My step father had to put this thing together for me and it wasn't very easy to assemble. it had a lot of pieces. the things that the drawers roll out on are plastic, making it a little harder to open and close the drawers then if they were metal. next time i will probobly spend more for a more sturdy dresser. this one might last a year depending on how my daughter treats it.
