I have a HDTV that is very heavy and has an odd, fin shaped base almost 20" long. It was supposed to be either a table or mountable version but I just wanted it on a long bookshelf. I needed a swivel base to be able to view it from different parts of the room and bought several. The product is well designed with two bearings in addition to the 'lazy susan' in the center. I've attached pictures of the weight limit sticker and bottom of the product.I'm taking a risk using it with a 90lbs 46" TV. It doesn't swivel very easily with that weight, but I am confident the product will be able to sustain the weight as long as I don't swivel too often.
With a TV smaller than mine, I'd say it would swivel smoothly for years to come!
