I don't want to rate anything 5 stars, but about 2 months ago I bought this mattress and wanted to try it out before i commented. And in all fairness I was going to order the 10" bed @299, but figured that for an extra 25.00 it be worth it. I checked out all the negatives from the seller profile on amazon, I live in the negative feedback to make sure I don't get a crapy product. after receiving the 12" I'm so glad I didn't go for the 10".

I received the bed one week exactly from order it was heavy in the box, it was vacuum sealed in multi plastic, At first i was confused about which end was up? but then i noticed the cover had a large zipper on the bottom, so I laid it out and waited for it to expand. I came back later that day and it was expanded all the way, I was surprised at the firmness of it, and it is close enough to 12" to be 12"; I had read a Neg. review about the size of it,

I have in the past, have a hard time getting to sleep at night, This does help, and is well worth the money,

But it's not a miracle cure; But I am sleeping a little better and the foam does return to it's natural shape once I get out of it, All 280 pounds of me.

but saw the the same mattress @ IKEA for allot more, the savings are real. I do enjoy this mattress, Got lucky on an Internet buy; if you want to see the same product before buying it, check out IKEA's memory foam Mattress. They seem to me to be from the same warehouse? but I'm not sure.

Here it is 2 years later and I still have my bed. It's the real deal. I'm so use to getting ripped of by mis-leading advertising, but my bed it just as good as the expensive sleep shops. I sleep very well now and my sleeping habits have approved over the last few years. Recommend a great pillow with this bed. 12/2012

This bed is so comfortable...not too hard, not too soft. I am a petite person, so that may play into my comfort level with this bed. I barely sink into it, just enough to fill in the gaps. Wow...so very pleasant after my hard spring mattress. I am also mostly a side sleeper, and that seems to work very well on this bed. There's give, but not too much.

Came wrapped in many, many layers of plastic, all intact. Included warranty info plus instructions on unpacking. This is heavy, btw...80 lbs for my twin size. That's a lot of good foam, there.

Unwrapped it on the floor. It had a slight odor, but nothing that kept me from using it right away. I've used a memory foam pillow before, and it smelled the same. I let it grow to size for a few hours then wrangled it on my box-spring. It's a heavy mattress, so you might want to 'let it grow' on your foundation. It grew to its full 12 inches.

Really, really comfortable. It's funny how much better I sleep on this thing, as opposed to my old spring mattress. When I fall asleep, I don't wake up like I used to, trying to find a comfortable position. My sleep seems deeper and just all around more restful.

I get slightly warm in this bed while sleeping. It's not HOT sleeping, by any means, just warm and cozy. I don't use my down comforter any longer, just my quilt and flannel sheets(you'll want some deep pockets for your fitted sheet on this mattress, obviously).

UPDATE: It was pointed out to me that you can get this same bed under the 'Dynasty' label for 269$. Well, live and learn. Save yourself some $$.
