It looks very nice and I hung this up with only ONE nail. The nail is gold with a flat disc in the middle of it to go flat against the item and the wall when you get it into the wall and I just placed it in the middle of one of the top bamboo grooves and it looks Great! I am very pleased.

This is awesome! I am planning to buy another larger one soon and one for the bathroom too!! Excellent quality and beautiful design!!

I bought this for my office's kitchen area and I love it. It looks exactly as pictured and is well worth the low price point. it's easy to clean and so far has been quite durable. I couldn't be happier.

This item shipped on the same day from the seller and arrived promptly. It was exactly as described-a slat bamboo rug with a nice backing(I have no way of testing the wood, but it looks/feels like bamboo). The slats are unobtrusive and smooth. My only complaint is that the picture is a little pixelated. The rug itself is a little lighter than in the amazon picture, which in my opinion makes it look better. Looks great on our wood floor and doesn't slide around. I will potentially update my review as the product ages.

Update: The rug still does not slide around and is retaining its finish well, but after a couple weeks some of the slats have gaps in between noticeable if you stare at it, though the have not come apart. The rug is in a high traffic area.

Update#2: The rug, a couple months in, still stays in place and has not degraded noticeably.
