Our son described this picture and asked us to find it for him.
He said that when he was on board the USS Nimitz the picture was
one he saw daily in the mess deck. It had so struck him that he
knew that some day he would find a copy of it and hang it in his home.
It arrived and he was very pleased with the both the quality and
the price. He has placed it in a place of prominence in his kitchen
where it looks as if it always belonged there.
~ The Boss and Mrs. B. ~This pic speaks to me, to always be grateful on a daily basis. Only wish they had this in oil on canvass.Bought this because it is the one my grandparents had in their home and now it hangs over our dining room table. The only thing I didn't care for is that the colors seemed a bit washed-out; I saw another, smaller print of this in a thrift store recently and the colors of the man's jacket and the book/Bible on the table were more vibrant. His jacket is actually more green and the book more blue than this print shows. But it still looks really nice in our dining room; it has symbolic and sentimental meaning for me.My grandma had a picture like this when I was a little girl, so when I received this picture I was very happy with the quality and it looks nice in my kitchen. Great memories. This is an iconic print that was wistfully remembered by my wife for hanging in her grandmother's home. The frame is of solid construction and the print is high quality. I plan to come back for any other prints that I may find a need for in the future.
