This cleary is not worth the price tag and I doubt it will last a year. Disappointed but stuck with it now.
UPDATE: We have has this mattress now for 6 months and already the white stitching that attatches the cover to the mattress have come undone and it's only been 6 months and the mattress is losing its shape and this was not built evenly by any means. Like I said earlier I doubt it would last a year and 6 months into it its falling apart. Constantly flip it to get the full benefits but one side seems to have better comfort than the other. This was way too expensive and it didn't outlast the last mattress I had for 6 years.I much prefer a good firm futon mattress to a box spring/mattress rig, and this mattress is one of the best I've laid on. I love the queen size, big enough to spread out fully (I'm 5'10") but doesnt take up much room.
Note...
when you get this, it will be rolled up in plastic, you will have to put a little effort into making it flat and even once you roll it out. After a couple of nights on it, it will form to your body; seems like it gets more comfy every night.

I ordered this to go with a futon frame I was building. I finished the frame today and put the item in and was very disappointed to find that it is only 6 inches thick. I am a woodworker and can read a tape measure! It's 6" thick! What am I supposed to do now? Wrap this bulky thing up and send it back? Why can't they get it right in the first place? Or was this intentional.Read Best Reviews of Serta Chestnut Micro Fiber Futon Mattress Here
Feeling rather ripped off here. I bought this futon in November of 2009; It's developed a deep depression about where my mid-back usually is.I fluffed and flipped it which helped marginally for a few weeks but back to depression. It's bad enough that you have to work to keep from getting sucked down into it.
I will not be buying another Serta product. This cushion is super firm and super comfortable and slightly larger than the Serta full mattress that came with my futon. Worth every penny! The one down side that I can find so far is the suede like material that it is covered in, it attracts dirt like a super magnet. You should definitely buy a washable cover to put over it, I did after unpacking it and while putting it on the futon frame it picked up every piece of dirt and lint and thread in the apartment. I suggest that you give a good vacuum to your floors before unpacking the cushion, as the plastic it is wrapped in charges the cushion with a lot of static electricity. Sleeps great. If your futon is like mine with wide spaced metal tubes I would also recommend placing a piece of thin wood or thick cardboard to keep the cushion from sinking between the tubes that requires more frequent flipping.
