This bed came within a week in 5 boxes. I also got the nightstands and nightstand backboards, I put it together in about 2 hours. The bed material itself is awesome, really heavy duty and sturdy, plenty of hardware holding it all together. The finish is excellent, and the lights are really awesome, it is actually a 3 way dimming switch. Overall my wife and I are really happy. This bed does not look like $600 bed but more like a $2000 bed!
Excellent bed for the price. I would love to have better instructions, but it took me 2 hours to assemble it. The finish is impecable and is sturdy. I love the lights! It came in a pallet. 3 large and heavy boxes. Well packed. No details. I'm very pleased. I'm going for the nightstands now!!

It was the first time for me to buy a large piece of furniture (California King Size Bed) on-line. And it turned out to be a bad decision. First of all, the item was three days late to arrive (vs the targeted ship dates). Secondly, you need to be a rocket scientist to figure out how to put this thing together (it actually has a fancy night light system). The instruction was poorly written for a complex, and heavy king size bed. Thirdly, I was surprised by the size of the bed when I finished assembling. It is a lot taller and a lot wider than I expected (we actually have a mattress before the bed shows up). So the lesson learned, never buy a large piece of furniture on-line unless you know the exact dimension. In addition, make sure the furniture is not made in Malaysia and need extra time to get to your place. Oh, BTW, do get a engineering degree before assembling a complex furniture that does not come w/ a clear instruction manual.
