When we opened up the packaging, there were no directions. We googled directions for a similar bunk bed and then guessed from there. Once it was put up (about 2 hours with 2 of us and some aggravation), it was nice and steady. My 6 yr old son loves it. The only issue I have with it is there are no support bars for the middle of the bottom bunk that support from the bed to the floor. Otherwise the design is nice and fits perfectly in a smaller room.

Bought this for my grandson and he loves it. He is 5 years old and sleeps on the bottom and top bunk.
