I was a bit skeptical given the low price that these stools weren't going to fall apart immediately but so far they have held up well in a house with a toddler and three dogs. My only complaint is on the foot rail it took some beating to it after a party guest wearing heels scuffed the hell out of it. I think a little light sanding and touch of cherry stain will fix it.Bottom line: these are comfortable, easy to put together and durable except for the foot rails.

I ordered these as extras to go with an existing set. They arrived today, and look great. They actually appear to be better quality than the ones which came with my expensive pub set. I had read a couple of reviews where people had complained of poor packaging, That wasn't my experience at all. Sadly, I am returning them because I mistakenly ordered the wrong height. If I can find the same stool in the correct size, I won't hesitate to order them. That was then, this is now... I'm sorry to say that my initial satisfaction with this purchase has soured. 10 days after UPS confirmation that my return had been delivered, I have heard nothing from the seller. I contacted Amazon and was told they would begin an A to Z refund, another 1 to 2 weeks. I have never had a problem with an Amazon purchase, but I have learned my lesson. From now on I will only order what is shipped directly from Amazon.When putting it together it doesn't match up. Once I was all done it didn't sit right on the floor. It will work.
