Great bed, my daughter was amazed. I was able to put this together while 6 months pregnant. It ships in many different boxes, each having it's own identifying label & bag of parts & hardware, as well as separate instruction sheets for each box. It's best to open everything while keeping each bag of hardware,along with its instruction sheet, next to the parts they belong with. At first i didn't like that there wasn't a single master instruction sheet, but if you stay organized, keeping each instruction sheet for each part together with its bag of hardware, it's fine. Make sure the leg extensions that elevate the loft are twisted to the bed posts very tightly..At first I didn't want to force them for fear of cracking the composite wood,but bed was shaky,so my husband had to tilt the whole finished product while I made the extensions screw into the bed legs as tight as possible. My daughters friends can't wait to come & see it. I saw a happiness in her little heart that i know will last a lifetime, she will always remember this bed. The slide is super fast, faster than any playground slide! I still find her sleeping on the floor sometimes, a thousand bucks later. Kids.

My wife first saw this bed at a local store, where (after extensive negotiations) the salesperson agreed to "let it go" for $1250. We paid $350 less through Amazon. It was also delivered 5 weeks sooner than we would have received it from the furniture store. The bed came in several boxes and, at first, it seemed liked a big project. Assembly was extremely easy, however, and my daughter grew happier and happier as her bed came together. Once assembly was completed, my daughter's eyes lit up and she was extremely happy with her new bed. The piece looks great in her bedroom and we really don't need to buy anything else. This is probably the best thing we have ever purchased through Amazon.

Don't be fooled by the flat boxes, there is a beautiful castle waiting inside, it does take some work to put it together. The curtains and tent are seriously wrinkled and won't fall out so it needs to be ironed which isn't easy with a plastic backing. Two of the pieces cracked when put together but the company replaced quickly. We eliminated the slide pretty quickly because there just wasn't enough room to use safely, and we purchased steps from a local company to make safer. It gives us great storage space underneath. It's pretty costly not sure if I would do this again, but daughter loves it.

Parts were missing and the ladder was damaged. Fit was poor and necessitated use of power screwdriver. Instructions sketchy at best. Daughter loves it tho.

Very sturdy once assembled. Will be nice twin bed when older.

It took my husband and I 4 hours to put this together. You will need two people to put it together.It came in different boxes and there was hardware and wrenches in there ready for you to put it together. Its really sturdy. The upper tent is not as taut as I would like it to be but there are no complaints from my daughters about that. my 6 year old says its just like camping out. The slide isnt that slippery but thats fine I dont want them slamming into the wall coming down. I have left over screws and a slab of board but I believe its for when it changes into a low twin bed. Make sure you have a high ceiling or else you may not be able to put the flag pole on top, which I didnt.It helped me save space because they can put all their toys underneath the bed. They have their own little living space below. If you dont like wrinkled fabric just steam it or put it into the dryer with no heat. The only thing I didnt like was that the instructions didnt come in the box that the directions were for. So I had to look around for which boxes or pieces it belonged to.
