Birds On A Wire Picture Hanger

Definitely a cute idea. However, I thought maybe the string would be a bit longer, maybe to stretch across the room. Not a product fault, just my own fault for not reading the info. I actually saw this on UrbanOutfitters and thought it was major adorable so came to amazon to find a cheaper price. Definitely cheaper, but not worth my money if I were to hang it at home. Good thing I'm taking it to my college dorm! You'd think 32 inch sounds like a long cord, but no no no! It's pretty short. So I might just go out and find another chord....or wire....and add a few paperclips of my own. Definitely a DYI if you're that type of person. So If you could just find a nice wire or cord, and maybe some paper clips, some cute decal or stickers, and a hot glue gun, you're good to go. Oh, and you have to pin it up yourself so either find some cute tacks or a hard to see nail.

I'm very happy with this purchase. It's just what I needed to hold my child's art inside an empty frame. I've gotten many compliments on it already.

I bought these for my mom and she loved the idea of them. However she had a hard time actually using them as described. She said that the birds kept flippiing over and didn't want to stay in the "wire". I am not sure if this is because she wasn't doing it right or a problem with the product itself. But since she has a bird (crow) fettish I thought this was still a pretty cool gift.

Originally I reviewed this as excellent and that was based on the quick delivery and price compared to what it's sold for at other shops etc.

I till think it would be cute for some people, especially college students for a dorm etc. however, after opening it, it's not exactly what I thought.

I didn't read what materials it was made out of so this isn't really a product flaw, it's just different than what I had expected.

I thought the little paper clips and birds would be a thin painted metal, they are actually a rubbery black silicone type material. The cord which I thought would be real black wire, was a cheaply black string. For me these mediums don't go with my home so I am going to return it but it is still a cute gift for kids room (kids old enough that choking isn't a hazard) or dorm room etc.

This was a big disappointment. I bought it as a gift and it was too cheap looking to give to someone. It's 8 paper clips and a bit of black string no way to attach string to the wall, all in a cheesy container. Even if it included a couple of thumb tacks it might seem nicer.
