This was a gift from my husband and myself to our Mom, she loved this clock and sits and admires it, and states it keeps perfect time.

I was told from my hubby that his mom always wanted a grandfather clock, and I thought to myself we all want something really bad so why not make

her life more happier with what she always wanted and we purchased this for her Christmas gift this past Christmas and she so loves it, shows it off

to everyone that stops by for a visit.

While the clock looks beautiful it is cheaply made and the "weights" and "pendulum" are made of plastic. The back of the clock base is made of luan and up close it looks like a shop class project rather than the photo of the item. Very disappointed.
