My second rug order online. Amazon had the best price online by far for this rug. They beat the competitors by at least $100. However, the product itself is slightly darker in colour overall. I was expecting a vibrant, baby blue colour, instead I got a flat blue. The thread is nowhere near as dense as indicated by the photos. I even found an odd photo on google images where the manufacturer had this rug in a living room setting. It seemed to confirm the colour and density. I can confirm that it's darker and not as dense. Bottom line, ordering rugs online is tough business. Unless you see an indentical item in store, it can be very misleading online with the monitor variations. I have an HD screen used for photography and also calibrated, so my colours are quite accurate. I would not recommend this rug, but bravo Amazon for killing the competition and having an easy no-charge RMA process. I ordered a $72 rug from Rugs-direct in what was supposed to be a "risk free" trial. They charged my $33 to return ship the rug to them!!! If you have to order a rug online, do it on Amazon.
This rug is the perfect style and color for our formal living room. The actual rug looks a little darker than the picture and the dark leaves are more of a darker brown color. The big warehouse store chain and none of the online rug dealers came close to Amazon's price. The online rug stores would not even honor there own "price match plus 15% off the difference" policies since they said Amazon's prices were so low.
