I saw this advertised on TV and rushed to order it. I had been searching for a table that I could use while in my power wheel chair without having to pay a couple of hundreds of dollars. This table filled the bill. Now I can roll right up to it to eat read, or work with puzzles. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because it's a little wobbly (but I can put up with that).

This is the best tv table because if it's design. With four legged tables you don't have the ability to get the table close enough to eat . with this table you can slide it right up as shown in the picture. it is well made and very sturdy. it arrived sooner than i expected as well. JL

This TableMate model could be a winner with some re-engineering, but the word that comes to mind for it is "animated." It is springy, tip-prone, can't be trusted with a dinnerplate full of food, and is a bit too bouncy for a laptop. These might be fun qualities for that new puppy of yours, but not so much for a couch-side table. I think it could work as a children's drawing table, at its shorter settings. One plus: the tabletop does not have a plastic odor.

Can't get the table even, but it is usable. The locking pins are very stiff and hard to manage easily.

i bought this for my parents. my husband and I have these for our home and love them and when I last visited my parents and realized they were heating left overs and just holding them on their laps or setting them on an end table to eat them, I was about undone. these move right up close, adjust very nicely, and easy to clean and store. I love them. they support my laptop, a hot meal, etc. they have a lip around the edge which prevents messes (I have grandkids!) and are super handy. they may appear pricy, but they're worth it.
