South Shore City Life TV Stand, Chocolate Finish

I looked at and wanted this tv stand for months before actually financially being able to purchase it. It took 8 days to arrive which I thought was great given I'd ordered it 5 days before Christmas. One of the doors is damaged and a major piece which allows me to stand it up is pre drilled incorrectly. I'm very upset about this but I will say the company was very good with replacing the damaged parts. Hopefully they arrive quickly.. I want to see my 60 inch on this stand!!!

The instructions were horrible, but I manage to get it together in an hour or so. Pre-drilled holes were missing, and don't plan on moving it after assembled. Not worth the price tag!!! Looks good though. Not good for video games unless you leave the doors open. Overheat!!

My wife and I bought this because the price was right. We needed a stand for our new 55-inch television. We had a hard time finding something we wanted, so we opted for this stand primarily because it was cheap. The price was unbeatable.

Aesthetically, it looks good. The photos adequately depict what it looks like.

The construction feels solid. But we noticed a slight bowing in the center of the top shelf. Its not enough to draw an attention or cause concern though. We primarily noticed it because our TV does not look level sitting on the stand. After I broke out a level, I confirmed the slight bowing in the top shelf. But we still couldn't figure out if the stand is slanted or if its the floor. Once again, its not something that draws attention its just something we noticed when we were scrutinizing the new TV.

We were also disappointed to find out that the shelves inside the glass cabinets are not tall enough to store DVDs or BluRay Discs. So if you are buying this for media storage, look else where.

Its hard to complain about a nice looking TV Stand with an unbeatable price though.
