My daughter loves it. She has all there nick nacks on it and there is even a punch out for alarm clock and lamp.
It fits a queen bed just fine which I was worried about since it says it willl fit a full bed too. It is laminated so I am sure it isn't the sturdiest but again it is a great price and my kids don't climb furniture so I am not too concerned. It is perfect for a 7 year old girl that wants to display her treasures. I got the white to match her furniture and it seems perfect as well.
I had originally planned to put it in front of a window but realized it was too tall there) to get out the window in case of an emergency). This was my only concern but that has nothing to do with the bed frame jsut my after thought.

This product arrived quickly and with the exception of a small damaged piece, which I lived with since it was against the wall, is a very nice item. Instructions for the most part were easy to follow and relatively simple to assemble if you just take your time. I will second another reviewer's comment though that the double-sided tape deal for the drawers was VERY unpleasant working with. I'm not kidding when I say compared to everything else, the two drawers took the most time (and PATIENCE). I'd say that 95% of that had to do with dealing with the tape that is extremely frustrating to work with and remove the backing from one side. If there is a Mr. or Mrs. Sauder, they need to at least perform this section of the assembly so they can see what really needs improvement. C'mon Sauder, you folks are the leader in affordable, nice, and easy to assemble furniture and I would think you can improve upon this BIG TIME. Bottom line, the item overall is very nice and pretty decent for the money so I'm happy. If I was to buy another though, I'd buy my own double-sided tape!!! ;-)Read Best Reviews of Shoal Creek Full or Queen Bookcase Headboard Here
the Sauder Shoal Creek Headboard was perfect for my needs. It shipped as expected and putting it together was not bad at all. I did find a cordless screwdriver worked much easier than a regular screwdriver. One step at a time and it was up and being used within 4 hrs.. It also attached easily to my queen bed frame. Well worth the money.Although this bed looks decent, it's really think pressboard. There's lots of extra parts (so don't panic). Assembly wasn't too difficult, BUT there was a mis-drilled hole on the side frame, so the top shelf on one side is crooked. I'll end up replacing it as soon as I find something else I like/have the money. In hindsight, I wish I wouldn't have wasted $100.
