DO NOT BUY!!! Even though I selected one of the less expensive vanity sets, I still expected it to be in decent condition when I received it. It's not like I only spent $40-$50 on this! All of the screws, nuts etc. were tossed about loosely within the packaging, and the table legs/stool legs had at least two-three scratches/marks on them. Also, the legs that the mirror connects on to did not have holes drilled for the screws to fit in to; therefore the wood split when trying to screw the bolts in to place! Make sure you have a drill gun handy if you purchase this set. I wish I had spent $100 more and bought the one I really wanted!

I just purchased this for my daughters 13th birthday and I am a little disappointed in the quality of the pieces. Obviously I knew it wouldn't be heirloom furniture, but it's made of particle-style board and the stool is not made for anyone very heavy. (I weigh 140 lbs and would not feel comfortable sitting on it.)

It has a nice finish, but when assembled, it doesn't look like it's worth more than forty or fifty bucks, in my opinion. And it took my husband a good hour to assemble it. He actually had to add his own wood glue to make it sturdier and had to repair the drawer, because it had come apart in the box.

These are things you really don't realize until you have invested the time to assemble the vanity set. We're not going to send it back, but would not buy it again either. This really reminds me of a piece of fashion doll furniture, like you would find in a dollhouse. Unfortunately, it's of similar quality.

I ordered this for my wife and she was pleased. I put it together and it went together with no problems. Was up in under 5 minutes.

The only problem I have with this thing is the stool. The stool is kind of cheap and I have had to tighten it many times over the past year. The wood was cracked on the bottom where the screws go but I anchored it with some metal.

Overall I would recommend it for an inexpensive vanity set.

Edit: Well after over a year of use the stool has now officially broke into 4 different pieces. I just sat on it and it crumbled. Keep in mind I do not even weigh over 200 lbs and I have kept the bolts tight every few months.

This isn't the greatest vanity set, but it's decent for the price, and a lot cheaper than most vanity sets. I've only had it for a couple of weeks, but so far it is sturdy. It didn't take very long to put together, but there was a problem with some of the nails. The nails that would have connected the mirror legs to the back panel of the vanity couldn't hold it together. I found some longer nails which worked fine.

There is also a really strong smell coming from the vanity set which I would have thought would go away after the first week. Hopefully it disappears after awhile. Overall a decent purchase.

This is definitely not the BEST vanity out there, but if you are looking for something functional that will fit into a smaller bedroom, this is definitely a great product. I am surprised with the build quality for the price paid. Seems to be well constructed. My wife loves it for a place to comfortably apply her makeup in the morning.
