Quality wise this Craig frame is about the equivalent of what you would pay $9.95 for at Michael's. So paying $40 is tough to accept even with the odd size. My suggestion would be to investigate the cost of custom framing before buying this frame.
For the quality I would expect 1/2 to 1/3 the price charged for the frame.

This frame is a little disappointing. The wood itself is awkwardly thin for a frame of this size. If there was an image of the full front of this frame rather than corners, you'd immediately see what I'm saying.Also, the facing is prone to scratching. It is shipped with a protective static cling layer. You need to pull this out and peel it off before mounting your picture. When placing the facing back into the frame, I made two very visible scratches when I bumped the thin metal teeth that bend to hold everything in place at the rear.
If you're still on board, I can recommend buying dark matting. The dark board will help hide any scratches that may occur and produce less contrast with the wood, putting less emphasis on the thin, fragile looking frame.
It's a functional frame with flaws, but if you plan on using a dark mat board, it may serve as a decent value.
