I ordered this from Amazon after looking in vain for a reasonably priced 20x30 poster frame in local stores. 24x36 is easy but not this size. The frame came in a very sturdy box so no damage. The acrylic glass was coated in protective plastic film so no scratches whatsoever. The frame material is real wood, not MDF. To be clear this is a lightweight very plain frame but for what it is I am very pleased.

The only frames this size I could find in town were triple the price of these. I would definitely recomend these. They have saw tooth style hangers on the top and side so they can be hung either way. They were packed very well from seller.

These frames (I bought 3) came packaged EXTREMELY well you'd like they were worth $$$. Unfortunately, the packaging was much better than the product. I really like the look, but the product is just mediocre. I kept them, because I knew they'd be a temporary solution (saving up to buy some nice shadow boxes), but I was still hoping the crafstman ship had been a bit better. Mostly, it's the paint that has run in some spots. Not terrible, but not perfect either. Nonetheless, for the price and a quick fix I'd buy them again.

This frame is thinner than I expected. Yes, I know the measurement is right there, but even still something about the cropped corner is deceiving.

It's also a bit flimsy and despite what appeared to be excellent packaging from the manufacturer, still sustained some minor damage in shipping from the straps holding it in the package.

My frame arrived quickly and in perfect condition. I purchased the 18"x 24" frame, which is an engineered wood with polycarbon instead of glass. I had some concern over the single, non-shanked nail for fastening the hook, but the frame appears to be a light enough weight where it won't be an issue.

The tabs to secure the backing are simple bits of metal that need to be bent out of the way and then bent back, so I'm guessing that they probably won't stand up to repeated use if you plan to change what you frame. The attachment hardware is unattached, but was not difficult to install. That way, you have your choice of vertical or horizontal mounting. I recommend a drill to create holes before installing the screws, you might bulge the frame if you just force them in without pre-drilling. The braided steel cable was a bit irksome; I poked a hole in my thumb with a frayed end of it. To avoid any chance of bloodstains, don't do that.

Overall, it's a good frame for the price. It's built to a certain price point where you can't expect real wood or glass, but there were no glaring flaws in the frame.
